It's Snowflake Time Again...
A highlight each Christmas Season at St. Anne's is the sight of many evergreen trees decorated with hand crocheted snowflakes. Each snowflake bears a name, and was purchased by friends and family to honor a loved one that lives or works at St. Anne's or in memory of someone who has passed away. These memoirs are carefully placed on snowflake trees for all to see, and special prayers for these individuals are said in their honor during the Christmas season.
Each year the project has grown. This year, we estimate that over 900 snowflakes will be displayed with the names of friends and loved ones. Those who request a snowflake sometimes write a note about the person  they are remembering or what the snowflake means to them. A new addition to this year's snowflake campaign is a Patriotic Tree, especially to remember those who serve, or who have served our country.
Proceeds from the campaign benefit residents at St. Anne's, and the project always brings smiles to all who see these special trees. The cost for the donation to have a name put on one of these snowflakes is $5.00.
